Philips 246E7QDSB Monitor Provides a 99 percent Coverage of sRGB Space

Philips has expanded its range of monitors , announcing 246E7QDSB model based on PLS LCD with LED backlight matrix W-LED.

The panel has a diagonal of 23.6 inches and is characterized by a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, which corresponds to the format Full HD. The brightness is 250 cd / m 2 , the response time - 5 ms. Indicators and typical dynamic contrast ratio of 1000: 1 and 20,000,000: 1.

The novelty is characterized by large viewing angle, reaching 178 degrees horizontally and vertically. It provides 82 percent coverage of NTSC color space and 99 percent coverage of the sRGB space.

Flicker-Free technology prevents flicker at different brightness levels, helping to reduce fatigue of the visual apparatus. SmartContrast tools analyze the displayed content and automatically adjust the color and backlight intensity to dynamically enhance contrast. Besides, mentioned technology SmartImage Lite for optimized display performance in accordance with the displayed content.

To connect the signal sources have D-Sub interface, DVI-D and HDMI. Monitor support the standard MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link), so that it can be connected to portable devices running Android.
